SYSTEM 203 -ADVANCED THERMAL LINING SYSTEM

GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HTL’s System 203 is an advanced high temperature thermal lining system (TLS) is able to withstand

extreme temperatures and thermal shock associated with effective fire training conducted in accordance with NFPA 1403. System 203 protects structural components of live fire training structures from temperatures up

to 2000°F, while not allowing temperatures exceeding 300°F to 350°F to be transmitted to the structure. System 203 provides extraordinary thermal protection to your building while resisting mechanical damage from tossed pallets, breathing apparatus, fire training equipment and high-pressure water streams. System 203 withstands pressurized steam created when using mechanically pressurized water for fire extinguishment. HTL’s interlocking system allows for minimum water and steam penetration into the TLS and protects the structure from the same harmful effects. This system withstands repeated high temperatures and extreme thermal shocks developed with live fire training evolutions. System 203 resists degradation such as spalling, cracking or splintering while allowing for expansion and contraction of materials responding to rapidly fluctuating temperatures.

HOW IT WORKS

System 203 includes interlocking refractory concrete tiles which encapsulate a layer of insulation. Each fire tile is individually anchored to the structure with a solid stainless-steel bolt. This system, with the interlocking feature of the tiles, allows the lining to “float” with temperature fluctuations. Expansion / Contraction joints are built into the

system at 12” on center, each way. The completed installation offers superior protection to your structure and is designed to last for 20 years with reasonable maintenance.

System 203 is free from asbestos or other harmful ingredients, and does not produce toxic bi-products in

the course of the intended use.

WARRANTY

System 203 comes with a five year warranty when the system is used in accordance with NFPA 1403.
